English Chinese French

The snow has stopped, Look!
Suddenly the bright moon lights up the dark silence.
Alone, in a city of millions, You and me.
They have vanished into their homes, but where is ours?

When the wind blows east, my heart returns
To Omei, land beyond strife.

A thousand miles, one little thread has brought us together.
Fragile as it seems, neither fire nor sword can sever it.
Life's journey is short and uncertain, but one thing is sure;
Though the seas may dry, and the stones may rot,
We shall be one, in body and heart.

The music touches
the nerve center
of the Tang poetry
